LoMo Camp for a Cure

Dear Campers,

As some of you may know, I was recently traded to the Seattle Mariners. While I loved my time in Miami and I am sad to leave, I have a new team that needs me to start preparing for the upcoming season in Seattle. With that being said, our 2014 Lomo Camp for a Cure event is being cancelled.

The camp was always the highlight of the year for me, and I am so sorry that it won't be taking place in 2014. I was honored to share my passion for baseball with you and I hope that you will continue practicing the game I love. Thank you for your willingness to contribute to such a great cause. I will continue to raise funds and awareness for lung cancer research while in Seattle.

All campers that signed up for the camp will receive a full refund. Also, as a consolation for the inconvenience to those who signed up, ELEV|8 Sports Institute would like to offer a special discount of $75.00 (15%) off of its Spring Break Advanced Training Camp. Discount Code is "CURE". More information about this camp is below.

I want to extend a special thank you to the staff at ELEV|8 Sports Institute for their generous donation of their outstanding facilities and their time and effort organizing this special camp. I also want to thank the University of Miami's Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center for all the wonderful work they do and will continue to do in the future.

Once again, I sincerely apologize for the change of plans for this year's camp but want to thank each and every one of you for all of your support over the last three years. If you have any additional questions, please reach out to Adam Rosenthal (adam.rosenthal@octagon.com).

All the best,
